+ How do I arrange my introductory session?
Contact me through form on this site, or leave a phone or text message with your contact details and when it is best to contact you. I will get back to you to discuss how to move forward. If we feel that my service may be useful we can then arrange a first session. This first session is half price. The appointment is confirmed when I receive the fee for the session by bank transfer.
+ What happens at the first session?
The purpose of the first session is to explore whether my type of approach suits the situation you are facing. It is also to find out if we are likely to work well together. If after this session we both feel that further sessions would be useful we would arrange a mutually convenient time for these. Further sessions are paid for in advance by bank transfer.
+ How long are appointments?
Appointments are 55 minutes long.
+How much do they cost?
The cost is £55/session, payable 48 hours in advance via bank transfer.
+What happens if I have to cancel an appointment?
If you have to cancel please contact me using email, text or phone and leave a message. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance I refund or waive your fee. Shorter notice cancellations are not refundable.
+ How frequent are sessions?
Sessions are normally weekly. More frequent sessions may be arranged if you need extra support while going though a difficult time.
+ Can I pay by Credit Card?
I do not take credit or debit cards.
+ What happens if you increase your prices while I'm in therapy with you?
When my price increases I apply it to new clients beginning therapy, not existing clients. In the rare event that someone is in therapy with me for a substantial length of time (over 11 months) and I have increased my price during that time I reserve the right to increase my fee when when therapy has lasted more than 52 weeks. I will inform you of any increase in fee at least 3 months in advance.
+ I'm meeting with several potential therapists before I decide who to see, are you OK with this?
I am OK with this as I feel it is important you find a therapist that is a good fit for you.
